Hi,
Ok, setting up and testing plugin/giop directory
according to README/plugins.
Things seem to compile ok now, see below.
I will submit some diffs soon for some giop
subdissectors soon.
Perhaps this has been asked before, but is there
an environmental variable or something that
points to where plugins are fetched from.
I dont see my plugin in the tools/plugin list.
Then again I dont see any ( including mgcp or gryphon)
I am testing on a nightly tarball.
1. ./autogen.sh
2. make
Is a make install required to make plugins visible,
or pehaps I have missed something. I normally only
go as fara as make, when testing in my own $HOME
directory.
Or, are they loaded on demand, and I need some
mgcp traffic ?
Frome README.plugin
"The bad news is that ethereal will not use the plugin unless the
plugin is installed in one of the places it expects to look."
Where are these places?
Cheers / Frank..
