Running on 32-bit Windows Vista Service Pack 2, build 6002, with WinPcap
version
4.1.2 (packet.dll version 4.1.0.2001), based on libpcap version 1.0 branch
1_0_rel0b (20091008), GnuTLS 2.8.5, Gcrypt 1.4.5, without AirPcap.

I have Wireshark Portable installed on a USB flash drive, and regular Wireshark
installed on my hard drive. The flash drive is mounted as drive L:.

When Wireshark Portable 1.4.2 is installed on the flash drive, Help | About |
Folders shows that the personal configuration folder is
L:\PortableApps\WiresharkPortable\Data\ and the personal plugins folder is
L:\PortableApps\WiresharkPortable\Data\plugins. Changes I make to the locally
installed copy of Wireshark do not affect the PortableApps version and vice
versa.

If I install Wireshark Portable 1.5.0-SVN-35426, Help | About | Folders shows
that the personal configuration folder is
C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Wireshark\ and the personal plugins folder is
C:\Users\Owner|AppData\Roaming\Wireshark\plugins. These are the same folders
used by the locally installed version of Wiresahrk. Changes I make to the
locally installed copy of Wireshark DO affect the Portable Apps version.
