I can reproduce this error on Windows, but not FreeBSD, both on r35273. 
Wireshark on FreeBSD stops after 4 packets and says:
"/tmp/randpkt-2010-12-25-25231.pcap" appears to have been cut short in the
middle of a packet.  On Windows, the error occurs on packet 1222 like the
buildbot saw.  My dev box is FreeBSD and Windows is only an automated build
download, so I can't do much troubleshooting there.
