You know I actually tried to build the Wiki once, but I had never done it
before and I wasn't making much progress, so I eventually gave up.
I do have some information which I could extract from the Juniper public
documentation set which would be ideal kind of material, but I'm doubtful I'll
have any success without some assistance. I suppose a web link might suit, but
they eventually get stale so I think it makes more sense for the Wiki to have
all of the information within it.
Perhaps if I could get a template to follow and could fill in the blanks - and
then have someone with some experience clean it up to make it Wiki-worthy and
submit it then I would be happy to take another shot at it. And I would be
willing to review the Wiki posting for accuracy one it's there.
And as for the heuristic dissector I actually built this as per a suggestion
made originally by Jaap, but for some reason it was pulled from the checked in
version and I never really understood why. It was an interesting exercise
learning how it all fit together so it wasn't a complete loss. I just assumed
that it was pulled because it conflicted with some other dissector.
