Step 1: make absolutely sure you are *NOT* running Windows on the machine
on which you're running Ethereal.  Trying to capture those frames on
Windows is pretty much hopeless.

You will, as another reply noted, probably have to put your WLAN adapter
into monitor mode to see those packets.  Note that, when in monitor mode,
your adapter will not be associated with any access point, and probably
won't even work in ad-hoc mode, so you'll probably want to turn off host
name resolution unless the machine is also connected to some other
wireless network or a wired network.
