Title: Understanding packets

I've recently been introduced to Ethereal and need to understand a little (OK, a lot) more about how to understand the packet information. 

What courses (anywhere) or topics can you recommend to get a better understanding of what to expect in Ethereal?  Probably a simple TCP course, but just wanted a recommendation from the company that provides the program I use to capture this information.
