I just installed ethereal for the first time on my windows XP laptop.  The install of Ethereal and Winpcap 3.0 appeared to go just fine.  However I have two issues if you can help?

 

1. There is a command window which comes up and gives the same error twice:  ethereal.exe:2552 “gtk-critical file gtk window c: line 3107 (gtk-window-resize): assertion ‘height >0’ failed”    This does not appear to be a problem but should I spend any time to fix it?

 

2. How do you install the current patch for ethereal as it does not appear to be a windows file?
