Hello ! Firstly, this my goal... I would like to put the data which comes from tethereal in a database. So i have devleopped a tools which parse the data given by the command : tethereal -V It gives me a tree of the protocols of the frames. The problem is that i would like that appears only the data which are analyzed or analyzable by tethereal. It means id don't want data. ============================================================ Frame 119 (1514 bytes on wire, 1514 bytes captured) Arrival Time: Jun 2, 2003 12:43:22.503652000 Time delta from previous packet: 0.001587000 seconds Time relative to first packet: 24.895582000 seconds Frame Number: 119 Packet Length: 1514 bytes Capture Length: 1514 bytes Ethernet II, Src: 00:10:e0:03:63:e7, Dst: 00:50:da:3b:7b:60 Destination: 00:50:da:3b:7b:60 (3com_3b:7b:60) Source: 00:10:e0:03:63:e7 (CobaltMi_03:63:e7) Type: IP (0x0800) Internet Protocol, Src Addr: 213.199.154.11 (213.199.154.11), Dst Addr: 192.168.10.82 (192.168.10.82) Version: 4 Header length: 20 bytes Differentiated Services Field: 0x00 (DSCP 0x00: Default; ECN: 0x00) 0000 00.. = Differentiated Services Codepoint: Default (0x00) .... ..0. = ECN-Capable Transport (ECT): 0 .... ...0 = ECN-CE: 0 Total Length: 1500 Identification: 0x5374 Flags: 0x04 .1.. = Don't fragment: Set ..0. = More fragments: Not set Fragment offset: 0 Time to live: 64 Protocol: TCP (0x06) Header checksum: 0xa6da (correct) Source: 213.199.154.11 (213.199.154.11) Destination: 192.168.10.82 (192.168.10.82) Transmission Control Protocol, Src Port: http (80), Dst Port: 4334 (4334), Seq: 75937055, Ack: 2618442672, Len: 1460 Source port: http (80) Destination port: 4334 (4334) Sequence number: 75937055 Next sequence number: 75938515 Acknowledgement number: 2618442672 Header length: 20 bytes Flags: 0x0018 (PSH, ACK) 0... .... = Congestion Window Reduced (CWR): Not set .0.. .... = ECN-Echo: Not set ..0. .... = Urgent: Not set ...1 .... = Acknowledgment: Set .... 1... = Push: Set .... .0.. = Reset: Not set .... ..0. = Syn: Not set .... ...0 = Fin: Not set Window size: 32120 Checksum: 0xe58e (correct) Hypertext Transfer Protocol Data (1460 bytes) 0000 6c 70 61 64 64 69 6e 67 3d 22 30 22 20 62 61 63 lpadding="0" bac 0010 6b 67 72 6f 75 6e 64 3d 22 68 74 74 70 3a 2f 2f kground="http:// 0020 77 77 77 2e 6d 73 6e 2e 66 72 2f 69 6d 67 2f 66 www.msn.fr/img/f 0030 72 2f 66 72 2d 66 72 2f 6d 6f 62 69 6c 65 2f 68 r/fr-fr/mobile/h 0040 6f 63 6b 65 79 2f 48 6b 79 53 74 6b 5f 32 2e 67 ockey/HkyStk_2.g 0050 69 66 22 20 77 69 64 74 68 3d 22 31 35 30 22 20 if" width="150" 0060 68 65 69 67 68 74 3d 22 37 35 22 3e 0d 0a 20 20 height="75">.. 0070 3c 74 72 3e 3c 74 64 3e 26 6e 62 73 70 3b 3c ................. ................. ============================================================ So here i don't want the hexa data !!
