Thanks it worked. however I was using an old version of ethereal, 0.91, which gave a crash when i specified preferences on the command line. Upgrading to the latest one, in the morning, helped me specifying the data i want.

So for your case you only need the "-o" option:
tethereal -i eth1 -t a -o "column.format: Frame, %m, time, %t, Proto, %p, Info, %i"
