Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] SnMP MIBs will not install if system drive isn't " C "
I wasn't able to ethereal if all the selected
components were selected...
SNMP MIB's want to be installed in the " C "
drive...
I don't have a " C " drive..
My drive letters start with " F "
I unselected the SNMP MIBs and ethereal installed
successfully
I'm new to packet capturing and
analysis....
Do i need the SNMP MIBs to capture and analyze
captured packets?
Thanks in advance...
I've attached a file that shows etheral failing to
install because the
MIBs want to be installed in drive " C
"...
Apparently this is hard coded and should actually
accept the
path selected for ethereal...
-simply grateful
