I'm using Ethereal version 0.9.1 and WinPcap
version 2.3 beta on a Windows XP laptop using a Belkin FD5020 PCMCIA NIC to
connect to the network.
On all packets that are directly targeted to my
machine I can capture all of the frames that make up that packet. However,
with any packet that is not directly sent to my machine I get a short frame
error. This happens on all of the tools that I've been able to use so far that
use the WinPcap library.
Is this a common problem, and if so how do I go
about solving it?
With many thanks
-Corey
