for the first i'd like to thank all of you for the advice.
now ethereal works on my box. but theres one more
question i'd like to ask:
after capturing some pakets (i listened on port 25 and 110)
i'd like to decode them. i mean i wan't to read the mail
in ascii. Another attempt was to listen to the proxyport,
but when i try with follow tcp-stream only a few data is shown,
but not the pages the people have been visiting.
and finally the question: how can i get eth. decoding the pakets
so that i can read the content or save the files localy (i.e. a zip is mailed)¿
