Has anyone been able to sniff the 802.11b wireless network in the
promiscuous mode?
If yes, what's vendor? (Cisco/Aironet, Lucent,...)

I am trying to capture TCP/IP packets in the promiscuous mode by running
Ethereal in WindowsNT using Spectrum24 Wireless LAN cards from Symbol
Technology.
So far, I can only capture data from/to the sniffing station.

Please help.
