Hi,

I'm having problems compiling ethereal-0.7.7 on Linux. Kernel I'm using
is 2.3.25 (yes, yes, please read on before blaming kernel, which by the
way is extremely stable so far)

Error I get:

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I. -I./wiretap -I/usr/local/include
-I/usr/include/pcap -I/usr/X11R6/include -Wall -O6 -fomit-frame-pointer
-fno-exceptions
-fno-rtti -pipe -s -mpentiumpro -mcpu=pentiumpro -march=pentiumpro
-ffast-math -fexpensive-optimizations -malign-loops=2 -malign-jumps=2
-malign-functions=2 -I. -I./wiretap -I/usr/local/include
-I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/lib/glib/include
-I/usr/include/pcap -I/usr/X11R6/include -c packet-ntp.c
{standard input}: Assembler messages:
{standard input}:705: Error: no such 386 instruction: `filds'
make[2]: *** [packet-ntp.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/RPM/BUILD/ethereal-0.7.7'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/RPM/BUILD/ethereal-0.7.7'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.40097 (%prep)

As far as I know I've got all the libraries needed. I don't have a gasm
or as86 reference so I can't verify the filds part...

Please help
