Running the Valgrind tool that checks for memory errors on tethereal returns many errors of the type: 
"Conditional move or jump depends on unitialized value(s)"

Could this be a problem?

I used this command line:
valgrind -v --tool=memcheck  tethereal -Qr gryphon.cap
It shows about 330 errors on the plain tethereal, and over 3000 errors on the SQL-patched version. I ran it on tethereal 0.10.2
