In case we start making incompatible changes to command line behaviour,
I'd really like to clean up the existing options while we are at it
(I don't like the baviour of one option depending on another option).
I also think that this should be done after a 0.9.7 release and should
be called 0.10.x, to make it easier for people to recognize something
has changed.

I found out that "pro" means "instead of" (as in proconsul). Now I know
what proactive means.
