I would like to propose completely removing %HOMEDRIVE% and %HOMEPATH%
from the location for the ".ethereal" directory on Windows, putting it
in the "Application Data" directory under your profile directory - and,
while we're at it, renaming the ".ethereal" directory to "Ethereal".

Application configuration files are supposed to go in the subdirectories
of the "Application Data" directory under the user's profile directory.

The advantage of my proposal is that it's already in the CVS tree, and
has been there for a while, and will thus show up in the next release. :-)
