Hi,

I was thinking that other projects may want to have access to wiretap as a
separate library.

Would it be hard to separate out and provide it as a library.

I know that Chris Hertel who is doing jCIFS asked about writing tcpdump
files recently, and I figure all of that would be easier if there was this
separate library called libwtap ...
