There was a problem reported a while ago with zlib and NetBSD - but I
suspect it's the same problem that exists with zlib and FreeBSD and with
zlib and OpenBSD, and my workaround appears to work on FreeBSD, so I've
taken out of "configure.in" the stuff to forcibly disable zlib support
on NetBSD.

If there is still a problem with zlib on NetBSD, let me know so we can
figure out how to fix or work around the problem.
