By the way, should the "-S" option try to make the packet list window
scroll to the bottom whenever it adds packets, so that the most recently
captured packets, rather than the first N packets of the capture, are
displayed?

That'd mean the display process would do more work during a capture
scrolling the packet list window, but if CPU time, etc. is at a premium
during a capture, you presumably don't want to be using "-S", so that
it's not spending CPU etc. updating the display except to indicate how
many packets it's captured (so you at least know how much progress it's
making).
