Actually not, in my preference file the IF is stored as
capture.device: Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection: \Device\NPF_{17E2B597-9C79-4B08-9836-E83D0B3E1064}
And the comparison is done against "\Device\NPF_{17E2B597-9C79-4B08-9836-E83D0B3E1064}"
