I have just tried opening both of the .aps files I attached to the
enhancement request with SVN-39603, but unfortunately Wireshark reports "The
capture file appears to have been cut short in the middle of a packet" and
shows 0 packets in the status bar.

I should have asked before, when I try the build tomorrow, what file do I
load in Wireshark? Will it be the .cap via Aethra's "Export to Ethereal" or
the native .asp?

OK, I've checked into the trunk a fix that should be in the nightly builds
for the trunk. Give one of those a try with your Aethra captures.
