I have to virtualize a physical WLAN card into multiple virtual cards, wherein I will be able to connect to multiple wireless networks simultaneously...........which means I dont have to purchase multiple wireless cards for connecting to multiple wireless networks. Below are the tasks which I have to perform. Will you guide me in how to achieve these tasks ? 1) Is it possible to capture the packets in wireshark for two different IP addresses ? The reason being that, two virtual cards will have two different IP addresses and I have to capture the packets coming only from these IP addresses only (by filtering) and then have to generate their combined throughput graph. I will be using IPERF to send the packets through the cards. It will be really helpful if You can provide me with the
solution as soon as possible. Because, I was trying to capture the packets for both the IP addresses in wireshark, but I was getting some errors. Also, the laptop on which I am capturing the packets is connected to the same server on which my first card is virtualized. But, in order to connect my 2nd virtual card to an Iperf Server, I may require different server. I am not sure about it, so I need some guidance.
