Does the most recent release of WS run on Windows 7?

 

I am preparing to purchase a laptop for the purpose of doing some Wireless testing

and most laptops are coming with Win7.

 

Also, I know with Vista, an additional package was needed (C++ something or other, I forget now).

 

Is it required for Win7?  I didn't see a download for it on the M$ site.
