Hi all

Just tried to update my VistaX64 Business Edition to the new 64-bit WireShark-1.2.0, but it fails to start : Dumpcap crashes, so it's impossible to capture; also, I unchecked the option to install WinPcap-4.1b5, as my working PC also use snort and nmap, so I personally prefer to keep a stable version of WinPcap (I ran in a problem with snort and a beta version of WinPcap before...)

Since I have another VistaX64 available to test compatibility issues, I installed latest WireShark on it with packed WinPcap and everything worked fine; if I remove WinPcap and install v4.0.2, I have the same problem and Dumpcap crash on startup.

It strongly feels (!) that WireShark-1.2.0 won't work with WinPcap-4.0.2, at least with my configuration...

PS : maybe that bug >https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3547 < is related no ?
