At the moment, unfortunately not, you might want to open an enhancement
request for it at https://bugs.wireshark.org so it will not be forgotten
to be fixed some day...

I agree, I added a note in the tshark manpage and marked it for
inclusion in version 1.0.8. Thank you for the feedback!
