Wireshark · Wireshark-users: [Wireshark-users] Crash at launch on 10.5 machine

Hi there,

I am having a heck of a time getting the WireShark 1.0 binary to  
launch on my laptop.  Every attempt at doing so has it crash and never  
load properly.  If I run the wireshark bin manually in the X11 app, I  
receive the following messages:

2008-05-14 08:33:25.284 defaults[10863:10b]
The domain/default pair of (kCFPreferencesAnyApplication,  
AppleAquaColorVariant)
 does not exist
2008-05-14 08:33:25.307 defaults[10864:10b]
The domain/default pair of (kCFPreferencesAnyApplication,  
AppleHighlightColor) d
oes not exist

(process:10854): Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library

(wireshark-bin:10854): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C  
library.
        Using the fallback 'C' locale.



Any ideas on this one?  I would love to get this working again on my  
laptop.
