No, I was using 0.99.5.
With disabling I was talking about the line
	disable_lua = true; do return end;
in the init.lua file. I did comment it out beforehand and had some
custom lua code in there, which made WS crash together with the MATE Gop
section.
As soon as I inserted the disable_lua line back again, WS did not crash
any more.

I just tried 0.99.6pre1 and the problem is solved there. I'm not able to
reproduce the crash any more.
