Wireshark-dev: [Wireshark-dev] Many Qt UI bugs, help requested

Hi all,

While the Qt UI seems pretty feature complete according to
https://wiki.wireshark.org/Development/QtShark, there are still a bunch
of usability and crash issues (from which I have noticed that people are
recommending the GTK+ UI instead). A full list of Qt-specific bugs:
https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?component=Qt%20UI&order=bug_id&resolution=---

If you want to improve the User Experience (UX), please consider looking
into this list. If you are a user, please report bugs and ideally with
steps to reproduce like
https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=13058

Some (other?) observed issues (without tracking bug):
 - Hanging after stopping capture (seems to happen with high ratio of
   new packets).
 - Hanging process on stopping/quitting (observed on macOS by a friend).
(once it also ran into a kernel panic)
 - Interface selection being forgotten when interface list is refreshed
(I am currently looking into it).

Note that some of the more annoying issues have already been fixed and
backported to 2.2.5 (duplicate interfaces (bug 11553), crashes on system
suspend/resume (bug 12263)).
