Hi Anand,
the sources contain a very well written doc/README.developer text file.
You have checked out the sources, so you should have it there. It is also
readable online from the SVN repository:

On http://www.wireshark.org/develop.html a paragraph explains what is
needed in order to provide your dissector for inclusion into a new
Wireshark release.
