does not find an "action" and thus returning instaead of calling
     gtk_action_set_sensitive (action, val); /* TRUE to make the action sensitive */

to enable it.




Sounds like a bug ....
Please submit a bug report with all the above info at bugs.wireshark.org so it can be tracked and doesn't get lost.
