Hi,
I'm using http://www.wireshark.org/docs/wsdg_html_chunked/ChSetupWin32.html to
set up the environment, in order to compile wireshark under windows.
However, while doing the verify tools check, I keep getting this problem
(tried on 2 seperate machines):
Setting environment for using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 x86 tools.

I'm guessing you're using the sources from the latest Wireshark 1.4
stable release with an up-to-date cygwin; If so you'll need to change
the second line in tools/win-setup.sh to be as follows: (comments
truncated in the following)
(set -o igncr) 2>/dev/null && set -o igncr; # ...
# ...
[The 'shopt -s igncr' previously used is no longer allowed by the
current cygwin].
This patch didn't make it into the release; It will be in the next 1.4
release.
