Hi,

Does anyone know the status on our pidl's? Are they up to date from the samba sources?
Do we have anyone maintaining this?

We have some patches[1] for generated dissectors, but I'm unable to build the dissectors without having a lot of changes. I really want to fix this the correct way in the correct source files.

We also did some header field cleanup which should go into the Samba svn[2], and I still think we may have some outstanding cleanup in our pidl .cnf files.

From the README:
"Don't do changes here, do them at the samba tree! Changes to this tree will be overwritten the next time the sources from the samba tree are updated, which is basically every time you do an svn up in the Wireshark toplevel dir."

Does this mean we should provide a patch to the samba team and then update the wireshark svn from this?
And then fetch new .idl files and generate new dissector files?
