Look at epan/filesystem.h

E.g. on my PC :
get_progfile_dir = Q:\wireshark\1.0.3\wireshark-1.0.3\wireshark-gtk2 get_plugin_dir = Q:\wireshark\1.0.3\wireshark-1.0.3\wireshark-gtk2\plugins\1.0.3oa get_datafile_dir = Q:\wireshark\1.0.3\wireshark-1.0.3\wireshark-gtk2 get_systemfile_dir = Q:\wireshark\1.0.3\wireshark-1.0.3\wireshark-gtk2 get_profiles_dir = C:\Users\Olivier\AppData\Roaming\Wireshark\profiles
     get_persdatafile_dir = C:\Users\Olivier\Documents

Hi,

I am writing a plug in to dissect MPICH packets and I need the absolute
path of the wireshark home directory so I can access a shell file on my
plug in folder.

I.e. <wiresharkfolder>/plugins/mpich/<myshell file.>

Is there any environment variable or wireshark variable that store it, or
any other way I can get it ?

Appreciate any help.
Seyed.
