Hi Tobias,

I created my own dissector and i compiled and built wireshark and then after that would just compile my plugin as i wrote it without recompiling the whole wireshark. I'm not sure if you need to first compile all of wireshark. But it's worth a try, let me know if it works.

so I can just use the Makefile.am in the plugin directory without having first a successful run of Configure (which current failes due to missing
gtk...) and a successful compile of the rest of the Wireshark stuff?
