I've submitted a quick fix on Gnome bug #502997 
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=502997) to fix the display of 
XPM images.  Hopefully they'll pick up the change soon.  I haven't seen 
any other issues so far using the native OS X Wireshark.
