Hi,

1) It would be nice to have a generalized concept.
2) I'm not really happy with the Taps/Statistics moniker on this item. I mean, as a user I don't know what a 'Tap' is. Neither that it's the mechanism to get RTP payloads to the player. So to find settings there for the RTP player is just not intuitive. I'm currently not aware of other features that could end up here with settings, but this needs some attention.

Thanx,
Jaap

Log:
Rename prefs_rtp_player files to prefs_taps.

Should we

1) allow individual taps to register preferences, just as dissectors can (rather than having the set of preferences for taps wired into the preferences code)

and possibly

2) have the "Taps/Statistics" preferences item have subitems for each tap that has preferences?
