I'm trying out the new prerelease and I found that it takes a littleover 30 seconds to start Wireshark [my laptop is old, but it's not*that* old!]. The Splash screen shows most of the time spent in "Initdissectors" and Task Manager shows the CPU pegged during this time.


Interestingly, 'tshark' starts up pretty quickly.


My install is standard except:
	- do not install SNMP MIBs
	- install MATE
