I was trying to apply a display filter via command line, but I neither saw the
text in the display filter textbox nor does the packet list correlate to that
filter setting.

My full command line:

"C:\Program Files\Wireshark\Wireshark.exe" -i
\Device\NPF_{06B4DD94-39B2-4A29-8496-72F0589A03DC} -k -f "port 8001" -Y "http"
-o "gui.window_title:9700"

This bug is particularly for the -Y command line switch.

The gui.window_title issue is IMHO already reported in Bug 11102.
