Comment # 6
on bug 4445
from Paul N
Hi
I'm using WS v1.12.8 with default color scheme on a Windows 7 system, and this
behavior of the changing color (disappearing act) of the selected packet in the
"Packet List" field is driving me nuts...
1) select the packet in the "Packet List" field and the color changes to deep
blue -- clearly identifying the selected packet;
2) then, select/click anything (e.g. "Frame"; or "Internet Protocol") in the
"Packet Details" field -- which results in that selection turning deep blue,
along with the associated bits in the "Packet Bytes" field -- and the packet
color above in the "Packet List" field turns pale and lost in the mix
(virtually indistinguishable);
3) if I then select some bits in the "Packet Bytes" field, the associated
selection in the "Packet Details" field turns or remains deep blue (easily
identifiable) but the packet selected in "Packet List" field remains pale, and
hard to identify.
Can the change be made to allow the selected packet (step 1) to simply retain
the "selected packet color designation" of deep blue (i.e. same color as the
selected sections of the other "packet" fields) throughout the activities
described?
Thanks
