With Qt Wireshark when editing an entry in the Coloring Rules dialog, the input
cursor will move to the end of the input field with each character added or
deleted.
Problem has been seen on both OS X and Windows.
Steps to replicate:
1 - Start Qt based Wireshark.
2 - Open the Coloring Rules dialog (Menu item: View / Coloring Rules ...)
3 - In the Coloring Rules dialog select an entry to edit. (Simply double click
in an existing entry's Name or Filter field.
At this point all the text in the double-clicked field should be selected but
no cursor will be visible.
4 - Move the mouse cursor over some character near the beginning of the
selected field or press the left arrow key to moved to select a point to start
editing.
The field text will no longer be selected, and the input cursor should now be
visible somewhere in the chosen field.
5 - Either type a character or delete a character at the current input cursor
position.
After pressing the key (by inserting a character or deleting a character) the
input cursor will move to the end of the field.
Workaround:
The input cursor must be moved back manually to the desired input position
using either the left arrow-key or by the mouse cursor in order to add or
delete another character from the previous edit cursor position.
