Wireshark shouldn't crash under any circumstances, no matter what files are
handed to it.  (Hopefully libsmi isn't doing something stupid such as exiting
on bad files without offering an API to request that it politely return an
error.)

It should also at least pop up a dialog for bad files, so that the files can be
fixed.
