Hi,
Actually I maintain Wireshark in Debian only and Ubuntu Developers pull sync my
packages to Ubuntu without my intervention. My name is on the package because
usually they just recompile it.
I don't manage any PPA on Launchpad, but I plan setting a few up for Wireshark.
Please note that I work on Wireshark on my free time and I work on many other
projects as well. My primary focus is keeping the Debian packages up-to-date -
in which I think I'm doing well - and this enables Ubuntu to sync the packages
to stay up-to-date.
The usual process for updating the Ubuntu packages is asking for an update/sync
on Launchpad and this will be picked up by someone from Ubuntu.
