While I'm very familiar with both GIT and Gerrit, and have worked with both on
several other open source projects, Wireshark's documentation is horrible
(unlike most of everything else in Wireshark, which is in very high quality
usually!):
1. There's not a SINGLE source of information on how to submit patches.
- https://code.wireshark.org/review/Documentation/user-upload.html (which is a
BTW mentions the need for ChangeIDs)
- https://www.wireshark.org/develop.html - which mentions you need to create an
account on Gerrit, but not how to do so.

Why not a single, streamlined instruction page?

2. The examples, instead of being concrete, provide a different URL each time.
Example: https://code.wireshark.org/review/Documentation/user-changeid.html
mentions review.example.com - why not code.wireshark.org ?
Or git push ssh://john.doe@git.example.com:29418/kernel/common
HEAD:refs/for/experimental in
https://code.wireshark.org/review/Documentation/user-upload.html
