IMHO, the objective of a dissector is to first display the correct value of a
given field as defined by the RFC. This is specifically true if we are using
the same field name, for example "Length" in this scenario. The end-user
looking at the dissector output doesn't need to always know the actual length,
it is something to be interpreted by the software processing the packet.
