OK, I think I may have found data from the second record in the Path
Replacement capture - 00 01 10 14 08 etc..

It appears that not all records are data; the first record is a "Start Monitor"
record.

indicator ("From").

Probably the next thing to do is to find where the time and date stamps are, as
that'll find the record boundaries, and distinguish between a file header (if
any) and the records.  Both files begin with "V0208", which might count as a
magic number; there's a pile of other stuff, looking like version strings for
the software, an indication of the COM port to which the Aethra device was
attached, the baud rate of the COM port, etc..  All that's probably a file
header.
