Apparently links doesn't allow   ... | links -dump ....

elinks *does* allow same.

Since this has never worked & since you're the first person (AFAIK) who has
reported this since the possibility to use 'links' was added in 2006, I'm
inclined to just remove the option to use links.

What do you think ?

(The Makefiles certainly can be fixed to generate a temporary file when using
links, but IMHO things get a little messy).
