Thanks for the response Bill. The issue still exists in the 64bit version 1.3.2
SVN Rev 31063. Here are some other versions I tried:
64bit 1.3.3 SVN Rev 31542, Compiled with GTK+ 2.16.6, with GLib 2.20.5,
32bit 1.3.3 SVN Rev 31542, Compiled with GTK+ 2.18.5, with GLib 2.22.3
Also, I have updated the Synaptics touchpad drivers to the new release
(v14.0.3.27/Aug09), if it makes any difference (this driver has improved other
things on the system, that previously had been troublesome in 64bit Vista).
This appears very GTK related (maybe 64bit Vista and GTK are still getting to
know each other), but I'm not GTK or development expert. I will say the Linux
(Ubuntu 9.04) 64bit releases of Wireshark do NOT have this issue.
Let me know if there is anything you'd like me to try.
