Thanks Jeff. Next time I have some free time, I'll try looking into SCTP and
other dissectors for ideas how to handle the request/response matching for
NHRP.
On a similar topic, I think ICMP could use some request/response tracking as
well. I was just now looking at some ICMP packets trying to determine response
times between ICMP echo requests and ICMP echo replies and I was somewhat
surprised to realize that such a prevalent protocol as ICMP has no such
tracking yet. I think it should be feasible to match IP pairs along with
identifier and sequence # fields. A topic for the developer's list perhaps?
Maybe I'll look into doing that as well and with luck submit a patch for it ...
if nobody beats me to it that is.
