My belief was incorrect.  :-(

In fact I can no longer cause a crash (with Windows or Linux) with the current
SVN.

(Earlier I could cause a crash maybe 1 out of 10 times when changing the
"Validate IP checksum" preference).


ToDo: Go back to the SVN where I was getting crashes and see if I can again get
crashes.

In any case, I'm marking this as unassigned again.
